Meet Teddy — a 2-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog with all the classic Berner traits in a slightly smaller, 63-pound package! Teddy is full of love, playfulness, and charm, and he’s ready to find a forever family that matches his big heart and joyful spirit.

Teddy is great with kids, from curious cuddles with babies to fun backyard play with older children. He’s gentle, sweet, and eager to be part of the family action. He’s also dog-friendly and would truly thrive in a home with another playful pup to be his buddy.

🏡 He’s house trained and kennel trained, and while he could live just about anywhere, he’d be happiest in a home with a fenced-in backyard where he can romp freely and safely.

🚶‍♂️ On walks, Teddy does best with a gentle leader — it helps keep his enthusiasm in check and prevents pulling. He also proved himself to be a fantastic travel companion, doing great on a long road trip.

🐾 The one thing to watch? Teddy has a bit of a runner’s instinct, so open doors and unfenced areas are a no-go for now. A secure home and consistent supervision are key to keeping this sweetheart safe.

🦴 He also eats a prescription hydrolyzed protein diet due to past sensitivities to animal proteins — but don’t worry, a prescription card for PetSmart will be provided to make it easy!
