Say hello to Selene, a petite Berner with a big heart and an even bigger love for her humans. At around 3 years old and just 46 pounds, she may be small for a Bernese, but she makes up for it in sweetness and devotion.
Selene is incredibly affectionate and ready to become your full-time shadow. She adores pets, scratches, and any kind of attention you’re willing to give. If you’re sitting down, she’d love to be right beside you.
She gets along well with other dogs and is learning how to play with her foster brother. She’s met cats and was very interested, though she hasn’t been tested long-term, so careful introductions would be important.
🍗 Food is her love language! Selene is highly food-motivated, which has made training a breeze. She is crate trained and comfortable in her crate — sometimes she even chooses to hang out there for a little quiet time. She’s also fully house trained and hasn’t had a single accident in her foster home.
Selene is low-key and relaxed indoors, happily moving in and out of the yard. She hasn’t shown any desire to bolt, but since she hasn’t been extensively tested off-leash, a secure fenced yard is recommended for safety.
She can be a little timid with loud noises but is steadily gaining confidence every day.
