Salina's tail has basically never stopped moving. Look at her — it wags. Say her name — it wags. Think about her from across the room — probably still wagging. She is one of those dogs who radiates pure, uncomplicated joy, and she has been that way since the moment she arrived in foster care. Her foster put it simply: she didn't have much to change. She came in already the sweetest girl, already well-behaved, already ready to love whoever would have her.

She follows her people everywhere, greets everyone with a wagging tail and zero hesitation, and expresses excitement about mealtime with a series of enthusiastic vertical leaps that have to be seen to be believed. She is working on sitting politely for treats and taking them gently — but her enthusiasm is genuinely hard to argue with. She also has a signature move when she really wants your attention: she sits down, looks you in the eye, and offers you her paw. Repeatedly. Until you acknowledge her. It works every time.

Salina is house-trained, travels beautifully, walks great on leash, and lives happily alongside the foster family's three-year-old with ease. She loves her Benebones, her stuffed toys, and a good run in the yard. She is not much of a furniture dog — she prefers her own space — but she will absolutely follow you from room to room just to stay close.
