Hi everyone, I’m Rhea — though my foster family also calls me Jojo. I’m almost 4 years old, and I’m a former mill mama learning that life inside a home can actually be really wonderful.
Right now, I’m looking for a Foster-to-Adopt (FTA) home. I recently went through a heat cycle, so I’m waiting to be spayed. I’m also finishing treatment for Lyme disease. I need a loving forever family who is willing to help me through my spay and complete my treatment while giving me the safe, steady home I deserve.
My foster friends say I’m very sweet and gentle. The house can feel a little big sometimes, but having my foster dog sibling nearby makes everything less scary. I absolutely LOVE other dogs — they help me feel safe and show me how to be a pet. And guess what? I even get along with cats. Yes, cats! I’m a pretty great roommate.
Loud noises and fast movements can startle me, so I’d do best in a home with older children who understand I just need a little time and patience.
