Ella is a beautiful 5½-year-old, 86-pound Bernese Mountain Dog with the sweetest heart. As a former mama from a puppy mill, she’s learning that life can be safe and full of love.
Ella is a calm, gentle girl who adores cuddles and being close to her people. She’s house trained, crate trained, wonderful with other dogs, and great with chickens. Cats are unknown, and she’d do best in a home without young children.
She’s making wonderful progress every day and is learning that thunderstorms, fireworks, and other loud noises aren’t so scary after all. She’ll need a patient family willing to continue building her confidence at her own pace.
Don’t let her calm personality fool you—every morning she gets excited and loves to do her happy zoomies! And if you become one of her favorite people, she’ll show you with adorable little “corn cob” nibbles, her special way of giving affection.
