Meet Cupid — A Little Heart Fighting Hard 🐾

Cupid is a tiny puppy with an enormous will to live — and right now, he needs our help to do just that.

At just eleven weeks old, Cupid has been diagnosed with severe pulmonic stenosis, a congenital heart defect that restricts blood flow from the heart. Without intervention, this condition can become life-threatening. With it, this little guy has every chance at a full, happy life.

Cupid is currently under the care of a veterinary cardiologist and is scheduled for a balloon procedure on June 30th — a specialized intervention that will open the restricted area of his heart and give it the room it needs to do its job. His medical team is experienced, prepared, and ready to fight for him. So are we.

In the meantime, Cupid is doing beautifully in his foster home. He is already potty trained — his foster, Connie, is absolutely thrilled about that — and he is thriving with the love and care surrounding him every single day. There is even a chance this little boy may already have found his forever home right where he is. 💛

Cupid is not currently available for adoption. He is focused on one thing right now: getting healthy. We will share updates as his journey continues.
