Meet Sierra — a majestic Great Pyrenees and Bernese Mountain Dog mix who takes her yard-watching duties very seriously and her nap schedule even more so. She is a low-key, gentle girl who loves her people, enjoys the great outdoors on her own terms, and is ready for a calm, quiet home where she can finally exhale.

Sierra came from a home with six dogs, which created a lot of anxiety for this sweet girl — so she is looking for a place where she can be the one and only, soak up all the attention, and decompress in the peace she deserves. She is house-trained, enjoys walks, and is happiest doing exactly two things: hanging with her people and keeping a watchful eye over her domain from the yard. She is part Pyr, after all. The perimeter will be monitored.

She is currently working on losing a few pounds, and as the weight comes off and she gets on a good joint supplement routine, her minor arthritis should continue to improve. She is a big, beautiful girl and needs an adopter who is comfortable handling a large dog with confidence and care.
