Adopt: Ivy
A Sweet, Easy Girl Just Waiting to Bloom 🐾
📍 Perrysville, OH — Ohio | 🎂 1 year old | ⚖️ 53 lbs
Ivy is one year old and still figuring out who she is — and the glimpses her foster family has seen so far are absolutely worth the wait. She wags her tail when they come home. She has claimed the couch as her happy place. She is gentle with the kids, peaceful with the Frenchie, unbothered by the cats, and completely at ease around the chickens. Her full personality hasn’t come out yet, but everything pointing toward it says this girl is going to be something really special.
She is calm, easy-going, and sweet-natured in the quietest way. She doesn’t run from new people or make a fuss — she simply observes, settles in, and warms up at her own pace. She loves natural foods like meat and eggs, prefers rugs over hardwood floors (they’re slippery, and she has standards), and is happiest when she can curl up on the couch with her people at the end of the day.
Ivy is still working on house training and leash manners, and she eats best when she is in her crate — she just needs someone with time, consistency, and patience to help her build those foundations. She has every capacity to learn. She just needs the right person to show her how.
Ivy would do best in a home that offers:
🏡 A securely fenced yard — she doesn’t yet have a sense of home and would wander
🐾 Other dogs and cats welcome — she does beautifully with both
🐔 Farm animals fine — she is completely unbothered by chickens
👶 Kids welcome — she is gentle and sweet with children of all ages
📋 Consistent routine and patient house training — she will pick it up quickly with the right guidance
🛋️ Couch access — this is simply non-negotiable for Ivy
💛 Someone with time and TLC to help her personality fully bloom
Ivy is still becoming herself — and she is doing it with the sweetest, most easy-going spirit. For the right home, the moment she fully comes out of her shell is going to be one of the best things they have ever witnessed. 💕
