Adopt: Daisy

Looking for a puppy who’s smart, spunky, and full of love? Meet Daisy!

This 5-month-old, 30-pound Bernese Mountain Dog mix may be small, but she’s got enough energy and personality to fill your whole home! Daisy’s mom was a Berner, and her dad — reportedly a Mini Aussie — passed down some serious zoomie power. Originally from an Amish farm where she was bred to be a “mini Berner,” this girl is all heart and high-speed fun.

Daisy is already off to a great start:

✔️ Potty trained and crate trained

✔️ Walks well on leash and has great recall

✔️ Knows basic commands

✔️ Friendly with kids, dogs, and dog-savvy cats (she may chase, but only to play!)

She’s a quick learner and very eager to please — the perfect combo for continued training. Daisy thrives with active families who can match her energy and provide plenty of structure, playtime, and positive reinforcement. She’s currently living with another Berner on a farm, and yes — even that hasn’t worn her out yet! 😄

Daisy is still being fostered under our FTA (Foster-to-Adopt) program due to ongoing treatment for hookworms and diarrhea, but we’re optimistic about her full recovery. However, it’s important to know: chickens are NOT safe around this playful predator — Daisy has proven she’ll chase.

If you’ve got a chicken-free, high-energy household that’s ready for a fun, affectionate, and whip-smart pup, Daisy could be your perfect match.
