Meet Charlie — a certified lap dog in a Berner's body who has absolutely no idea that sitting on your feet is not standard greeting etiquette. He is affectionate, calm, and endlessly charming, and he comes with one non-negotiable: his stuffed giraffe, King Charles, goes where he goes.

Charlie is a true gentleman in every sense. He's house-trained with impressive bladder control, sleeps quietly in his crate, loves a good car ride, and is polite with every human, dog, and cat he meets — though he always comes back to his person at the end of the day. He's the kind of dog who follows your nose and your heart, often simultaneously. Fair warning: if you sit down, he will be in your lap. If you stand up, he will be on your feet. This is simply how Charlie shows love, and honestly, it's hard to argue with.

He's still figuring out that the great outdoors is not an all-you-can-explore buffet, so a securely fenced yard is a must. He also discovered peanut butter recently, and life has never been the same.
