Bentley is a gorgeous, extra-large young Berner with a larger-than-life personality. Just over a year old, he’s still full of puppy energy and curiosity — but also incredibly smart and deeply loyal once he bonds with you.

Bentley had a very unstructured start in life and was allowed to run wild for his first year. Since entering foster care, he’s come a long way in learning manners, boundaries, and respect. He’s been working hard on training and is eager to please — but he’ll need a confident, experienced adopter to keep him on the right path.

🏡 What Bentley Needs:

  • A female-led household is ideal; Bentley prefers women and may try to “claim” his person by pushing men away

  • No small children, cats, or small animals (like chickens)

  • A secure fenced yard (at least 5ft) with strong gates

  • An adopter with strong leadership and training experience

  • Continued guidance on resource guarding (toys, food, off-limits items) — his foster has made great progress, but consistency is key

Bentley is a work in progress, but the potential is enormous. He’s smart, affectionate, and deeply loyal once he trusts you. With the right structure and love, Bentley will blossom into an amazing companion.
